The Test Your Poison Cocaine Purity Kit is a quick test for cocaine that will give you an idea about its purity. With this test you are able to find out whether and how much the cocaine has been cut. Dealers cut cocaine to increase the profit margins. The substances used for cutting are generally harmless but sometimes can include dangerous/harmful substances. As a general guideline, you can say that when there is a high percentage of cocaine present in the sample, you are close to the top source and the use of dangerous adulterants are diminished.
This purity test does not tell you anything about the identity of the substances that were used to cut the sample with. Use the Cocaine Cutting Agents test to determine the substances the cocaine has been cut with.

How do I use the kit?

How much of the sample should I use?
A very small sample is sufficient. In general, your sample should be about 20mg or 1-2 drops.
My vial looks empty, can I still use it?
Some of our test kits require very minimal reagent to be effective, while other kits require more. Depending on the kit you buy, there might seem like very little reagent (few drops). Do not worry, as this is intentional. Some kits are designed to have that amount of reagent, and you can still use it.
How reliable are the tests?
While reagent testing is the best method for on-the-spot testing, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact what the reaction looks like. Lighting, impurities, and unwanted substances in your sample may all play a role.
Just what I needed, Thank you
I had two tests, and two samples which I know of to be different in their respective quality. They both tested the same (maximum purity), when clear one product was far inferior. Secondly, the instructions do not indicate how much sample size to add. It says an amount in milligrams, but how do I weigh that? It also says using the provided scoop, so it should at least indicate if it’s the entire length of the scoop, or just the tip? Very unclear on how much needs to be added, maybe that gave me a faulty result. Overall not happy with the purchase, needs to be better at instructions on how much to add (make a better scoop with indents only as big as you want the sample size)

The idea of the scoop is a great idea however the density differs between the drugs, so 20 mcg isn't the same volume amongst the different drugs that we offer drug testing kits for, however we will try to work on making it easier to measure the required amount. With regards to the unclear instructions, we have a video included on 'How To Use' page of our website to support visual learners. To clarity your potention result, there are several factors that impact the outcomes including the homogenity of the sample. Additionally, though your samples were of different quality, it may still be true that they both had high purity content. We offer another product called 'Cocaine Cuts Kit' which would provide more information on other substances (cutting agents) within your sample, which could weaken the effect, or produce a differnet effect on you.
These guys had the right idea. My only problem with this testing kit is; how is a person suppose to measure .02 grams? This kit should come with some sort of measurement device. Without the exact proportion, how do we know we are getting a correct reading?
Your chart that indicates cocaine putity is not helpful. I followed your instructions as directed, testing three samples from three different sources, yet not once did my results match your chart for me to confidently interpret my results.
Bottom line...more result information needed.

Additionally, please be mindful that this is a preliminary test and there are several factors which could affect your results including but not limited to lighting, timing of interpretation, quality of source, contamination, and heterogeneity of source. It took awhile to arrive in CA/USA but this is a good but general tool/test for QUALITATIVE analysis and assessment of the substance. It would be nice if there were a few more, and more distinct colors that divided the test result into more speific and QUANTITATIVE reference samples. The variation between colors of a high cocaine concentration sample and the next bracket down are quite close. The price however makes this test a true value and makes such a test accessible to most interested in analyzing their product.. Best used in concert with the (also reasonably priced) Cut Test.
